I am happy to welcome you all to Blackdale Public School and wish to share our achievements.

The non-profit BPS was founded in July, 1997 by our founders, Dr. Mohammad Rafi Khan and Mrs. Noor Fatima Khan, both U.K. trained teachers with experience of teaching abroad. Dr. Khan was born in Aliganj, District Etah UP), India on 1st April, 1944 while she was born in Bilram (Etah) on 05th July, 1951. Mrs. Khan had her Diploma in Primary Education from England, with specialization in Montessori teaching. Dr. Khan had his basic education in Madarsa followed by Government Primary School and then High School from U.P. Board affiliated D. A. V. Inter College, Aliganj. He had his intermediate from B. R. College, Agra (U.P. Board), B.Sc. from D. A. V. College, Kanpur (Agra University) and M.Sc. (Chemistry) from Aligarh Muslim University. He then became a lecturer in Shibli National Post-Graduate College, Azamgarh from where he went to Nigeria and he taught for almost two decades. He completed his Associate Diploma in Education of the College of Preceptors, London (U.K.) in 1975 followed by Ph.D. in Science Education from U.S.A. in 1985. He was then offered a place by the University of East Anglia, Norwich, UK on 1st July, 1986 for Post Doctoral study in Chemical Education which he finished on 30th June, 1987. On return from U.K. he had an opportunity to serve Aligarh Public School, Aligarh as a Principal for almost 16 years. He throughout devoted himself to the cause of Education. He dedicated wholly to his father, late Haji Mullah Mohammad Shafi Khan and his mother, late Mrs. Faridan Begum who were very much fond of spreading education and were indeed a source of strength. Mrs. Noor Fatima Khan-his wife was the driving wheel behind this cause and though she is no more, but we still intend to work on her wishes to establish its branches at various places in Aligarh, the city of literates and also at other places in India and abroad, if Allah permits.
