1. The CBSE has discontinued the CCE system 2017-2018 and now the class X will have a Board examination covering the whole year's syllabus. The Examination shall be for 80 marks and a student has to secure 33% marks out of 80 marks in each subject. There are 20 Marks for internal Assessment called Periodic Test, a student has to secure 33% marks out of overall 20 marks earmarked in each subject.

2. As per the evaluation system, Class I to VIII there will be quarterly tests, half yearly exam and annual exam.

3. The assessment of class IX will be similar to that of class X.

4. It is compulsory to appear in all the assessments. There is no re-test or re- exam. A student has to secure a minimum aggregate of 33% of marks, grade D in every subject to qualify for a promotion to the next class.

5. For the first time, marks are awarded for the attendance, Practicals/Projects and note books which shall be included in the overall aggregate of marks.

7. Answer books of the Assessment Examination are generally not shown to the parents. However, the principal reserves all the rights to show/not to show answer books of any examination/test to the parents on request.

8. A student who fails twice in the same class will not be allowed to continue in the school.

9. If any student is found using unfair means during the examination the whole examination of the student will be cancelled and he/she may be expelled. Any incident of tampering with examination record will be considered as a serious offence and a strict action will be taken.

10. 75% attendance is must to appear in the exams.

Assessment of Co-Scholastic Areas

These activities will be graded on a 5-point grading scale (A to E) for classes IX-X.

The students shall be assessed on any two activities of her/his choice from each of the three areas i.e. Art Education, Health and Physical Education.

No up scaling of grades will be done.
