Welcome to BLACKDALE PUBLIC SCHOOL!
I extend my greetings to all viewers of this website and I am happy to announce that the parents may obtain information about the facilities, that now exist in the school, on the website.
We provide education to the children of all classes. Our school imparts value-based education. Special attention is paid to character building, discipline and truthfulness. First of all, for the benefit of those who are not familiar with the history of this school, I would like to present a brief resume of the school.
From a very small and humble beginning made in 1997 in a small rented house for Rs.10,000.00 a month in the compound of late Janab Samiuddin, IAS, in the name of Blackdale School under the visionary and dynamic leadership of the Chairman of The Rafi Education Development Society and the Manager of BPS, Prof. M. M. R. K. Afridi – former Head and Dean at the Aligarh Muslim University, with his vast managerial experience of several schools. We began this institution with the strength of 197 students aiming to enhance their knowledge, skill and understanding. On acquiring land in its present location at Shafiabad, Village Maheshpur in 2001 near Dhorra By-Pass Road, it was re-named to Blackdale Public School. From then on, the BPS was led by many visionary educationists like late Prof M. Shafi (Padma Shri Awardee), former PVC and Pro-Chancellor, Aligarh Muslim University, Prof. Samiullah, Dr. I. A. Khan, etc. We hope to establish a number of BPS branches in due course not only in Aligarh, but all over India and possibly also abroad. The dream of a better world can only be realized if each one of us acknowledges his/her responsibility to mankind.
Established in year 1997, Blackdale Public School, is a co-educational day school. The School was first inaugurated on 7th July, 1997 (Monday) by Dr. M. Rehman (Padma Shri Awardee), IAS, the then Vice Chancellor, Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh. He was the driving force and the guiding light behind this noble project.
